Seeks growth opportunities in existing customers and brings new customers to Halperns’ Steak & Seafood. Represents Halperns’ products and services and manages customer business relationships. Essential Functions: Manages customer orders. Acquires new customers. Develops and maintains customer relationships. Manages customer accounts receivables within guidelines. Effectively executes the Selling Cycle. Develops negotiation strategies. Develops pricing strategies. Leverages resources to increase growth. Delivers effective presentations. Conducts customer business reviews. Maintains knowledge of industry through industry magazines and local culinary organizations. Demonstrates and delivers understanding of the Food Service Industry and its operations. Understands areas of customer focus, including Sales Building, Staffing, Profitability, and Compliance. Demonstrates effective sampling. Explains key features and benefits of Halperns’ products. Understands and leverages advantages of Halperns’ branded products. Explains Value Added concepts to customers. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: This position requires customer focus with comprehensive communication skills and the ability to express self verbally. Must be a strategic thinker, inquisitive, innovative, and creative in order to build relationships, network, link resources, and apply business practices. Works effectively in teams and displays integrity and honesty to participate and contribute to branch team efforts. Must be goal driven and have great organizational and administration skills in order to self manage and develop discipline while remaining flexible and coachable. Must be able to meet and exceed sales performance goals and execute great time and territory management. Ability to adapt to frequent changes in program function or new applications.
