Cashier

We are seeking an individual that has strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to multi-task, excellent communication skills, the ability to learn company specific software, and dependable. Job Duties Provide exceptional customer service Operate as the primary Cashier and Scale master, ensuring accuracy with transactions Maintain accurate cash handling procedures as well as daily and monthly reconciling Operate the scale to weigh inbound and outbound materials, generate scale tickets Maintain organized filing system Answer incoming calls and provide accurate information Coordinate with yard personnel Maintain office housekeeping and organization Perform additional administrative duties as assigned Qualifications Must pass a medical physical and drug test Must pass a background check and credit check Experience in Recycling Logistics and Scale Operations. Preferred – high school diploma or GED and/or foreign education acceptable Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) language skills a plus Ability to: communicate with others effectively; understand direction (written or oral) and use basic math skills as the job demands Utilize MS Office to produce reports in various combinations to all readers and audiences Hour Requirements Mon-Fri - 8am-5:15pm Sat- 8am-12pm Job Expectations Comply with all applicable federal, state, local, & SA Recycling safety, health, & environmental rules, regulations, policies, & procedures.
