Dental Hygienist
Location: Sheboygan, Wisconsin
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Work Setting: In-Person
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join a dental practice in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will provide preventive dental care, educate patients on oral hygiene, and collaborate with the dentist to promote patients' overall oral health.
ScheduleMonday-Wednesday: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM
No evening, weekend, or on-call requirements.
Perform dental cleanings and preventive oral health procedures.
Examine patients for signs of gum disease and other oral health concerns.
Take dental X-rays as permitted by applicable regulations and practice protocols.
Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and oral hygiene practices.
Apply preventive treatments, including fluoride and dental sealants, as appropriate.
Document patient assessments, treatments, and medical histories accurately.
Collaborate with the dentist on patient care and treatment planning.
Maintain sterilization, infection control, and patient safety standards.
Provide a comfortable, professional, and patient-focused experience.
Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Active Wisconsin Dental Hygienist license or eligibility to obtain licensure before starting.
Current CPR/BLS certification, as required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with patients and dental team members.
Previous dental hygiene experience preferred; new graduates may be considered.
Adult patients only.
