# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Unit – Tennessee**Start Date:** September 23, 2026 **Location:** Chattanooga, Tennessee **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule; participation in holiday rotation**Highlights:** - 30-bed Medical-Surgical unit with 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio- Comprehensive support team including Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretaries, PCTs, and Case Management- Electronic documentation using Meditech system- Floating rotation shared equitably with existing staff- Collaborative unit culture focused on teamwork, compassion, and communication- Navy blue scrubs uniform**Requirements:** - Active RN license- Current BLS certification- Medical-Surgical nursing experience required, including familiarity with respiratory diseases, renal disease, GI illnesses, telemetry monitoring, central venous catheters, indwelling catheters, and heparin drips- Strong teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills- Commitment to patient experience standards utilizing communication boards**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This position offers the chance to work within a well-supported Medical-Surgical environment where clinical excellence and patient-centered care are top priorities.
