Surgical Technologist - Main Operating Room

Coordinates the care of the surgical patient with other team members. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality. Seeking Graduate and Experienced Surgical Techs! Who We Are: The Main Operating Room is a Level 1 Trauma Center and Burn Center, providing surgical care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics. We have 27 Operating Rooms with 7 specialty teams, including general surgery, gynecologic surgery, urologic surgery, robotics, ENT, orthopedic surgery, and neurosurgery. We have 4 state-of-the-art robots at Mercy. We offer comprehensive training to include all service lines. Proposed Schedule: Three 12s, Four 10s or Five 8s (Days) Minimum Qualifications Education: High-School Diploma or GED is required. Licensure: Non-certified applicants may be considered for this position with acceptable surgical technology experience. Experience: Non-certified applicants may be considered for this position with acceptable surgical technology experience. Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
