Responsibilities
- Operate CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images; adjust protocols based on patient size and clinical indication; perform general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed.
- Manage patient care during imaging, including positioning, patient safety, comfort, and, when applicable, contrast administration.
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation; ensure image quality and correct labeling.
- Utilize PACS/teleradiology systems to transfer images to the appropriate destination; maintain accurate patient records and billing information.
- Maintain CT equipment through routine calibration, quality checks, and supply inventory; troubleshoot basic technical issues while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines.

Requirements
- Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
- Licenses/Certifications: ARRT RT(R)(CT) or RT(R) (ARRT) required; ARRT-CT certification required; Advanced CT certification required in OR and HI (preferred in CA); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA/ARC acceptable)
- Experience: At least two years of recent radiology experience
- Additional licensing: Current nursing license per the state of assignment
- Venipuncture certification: Not required but can be preferred in some regions
