Description

• Conduct assessments of patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments, tailoring treatment plans to individual needs
• Execute physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
• Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes
• Inform patients and families about therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and exercises to do at home
• Record evaluations, treatments, and progress in line with facility protocols and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team discussions and participate in interdisciplinary meetings for coordinated patient care

Education

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable qualification from an accredited institution is required

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferable
