Work Environment\nThis position offers a remote work setting, typically operating from an outpatient office where clients can access therapy both in-person or virtually. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand each client's unique needs and develop tailored treatment plans that foster personal growth. \n
- Deliver one-on-one therapeutic interventions using a variety of evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or mindfulness techniques, adapting approaches to suit individual clients. \n
- Establish therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients and continuously monitor their progress towards those goals, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure effectiveness. \n
- Provide teletherapy options for clients with accessibility challenges or those who prefer virtual sessions, leveraging digital tools and platforms to facilitate engaging and efficient therapy. \n
- Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring all client interactions are recorded accurately and confidentially. \n
- Engage in regular professional development activities, including training and workshops, to stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health care. \n
Our practice primarily serves adults facing a range of mental health issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and other emotional challenges. You will work with clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences, ensuring tailored and culturally competent care that meets their specific needs.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). \n
- A Bachelor's degree is required for this position; however, candidates with a Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology are preferred. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients. \n
- Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude when working with clients. \n
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to efficiently manage caseloads while ensuring each client receives individual attention. \n
Experience in providing mental health counseling, particularly in outpatient settings, is highly desirable. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and a history of working with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, or depression will be advantageous.
