Picker / Packer - Norwalk, CT

Location: Norwalk, CT
Position: Picker / Packer
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are currently hiring Picker / Packers for a busy warehouse operation in Norwalk, CT. This is a great opportunity for dependable, hardworking candidates who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Pick products and materials according to customer orders and pick lists
• Pack orders carefully and accurately for shipment
• Verify item numbers, quantities, labels, and shipping information
• Inspect products for damage or discrepancies
• Label and prepare packages for shipment
• Organize products and maintain an orderly work area
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
• Follow all company safety and warehouse procedures

Requirements

• Must be able to read and understand English to accurately follow pick lists, product labels, safety instructions, and work orders
• Previous warehouse, picking, packing, shipping, or receiving experience is helpful but not required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work at a steady pace and meet daily productivity expectations
• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift
• Ability to lift and move boxes and materials as required
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
