About the Position

Job Title: Nurse Manager II Profession: Adult Services Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Critical Need Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM Experience: 1 year recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided Certifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Must-Have: ACLS Description: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Two years of recent ICU nursing experience is preferred. NIH Stroke Scale Certificate is preferred. CCRN certification is preferred. Experience with dialysis, SLED, or equivalent is preferred. This position requires strong leadership skills in a critical care environment. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care. Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role. The goal is to ensure high-quality patient outcomes through effective management of nursing staff and resources. The Nurse Manager will oversee ICU operations, quality assurance, and compliance with protocols. Support and mentoring of nursing staff will be a key responsibility. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
