Schedule Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM Job Description The Geriatric Psychiatric Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a compassionate environment, focusing on the geriatric population. The role involves assessing patient conditions, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and implementing care plans tailored to meet individual patient needs in a dedicated psychiatric unit. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop care plans. Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs. Administer medications and manage treatment protocols. Provide emotional support and de-escalate situations as necessary. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Registered Nurse (RN) license is required. BLS certification is mandatory. Experience in behavioral health and geriatric care preferred.
