We’re currently hiring a Part-Time School-Based Physical Therapist in Lawrence County, Indiana for a charter school assignment through May 2026. This onsite, school-based role supports students with physical disabilities, motor challenges, and mobility needs by helping them safely access and participate in their educational environment. The Physical Therapist will focus on improving students’ gross motor skills, strength, balance, coordination, and mobility to promote success both inside and outside the classroom. Location: Onsite – Lawrence County, IN (Charter School) Schedule: Part-Time Weekly Hours: 5 hours per week Daily Shift: 8:20 AM – 2:45 PM End Date: May 2026 Responsibilities Conduct evaluations to assess motor skills, mobility, and physical access needs Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP/504 goals Provide direct therapy services to improve strength, balance, and mobility Teach students the safe use of assistive devices and mobility techniques Recommend environmental adaptations and appropriate mobility equipment Collaborate with school staff and families to support student participation Train staff on safe handling, positioning, and mobility support strategies Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed Qualifications Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy Valid Indiana Physical Therapist license Previous school-based experience preferred Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills What We Offer Competitive pay and benefits package Access to a wide network of schools and districts for diverse placement options Streamlined hiring process to get you started quickly Ongoing communication and advocacy throughout your placement Personalized support from dedicated recruiting professionals Opportunities for professional growth and development #J-18808-Ljbffr
