Qualifications: BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience. Experience developing 3D variation simulation analyses using one or more of the following software packages: Siemens VA (VisVSA), 3DCS, CETOL. 5+ years of industry/academic experience. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing techniques (machining, 3D printing, injection molding, etc.). Experience with GD&T (ASME Y14.5), tolerance analysis, and associated metrology. Experience working on design teams throughout the product lifecycle (concept to start of production). Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of dimensional engineering experience, specifically with the application of GD&T and development of 3D variation simulation analyses (VisVSA preferred). 3+ years working on high-volume products such as consumer tech, automotive, aerospace, consumer appliances, or medical devices. I>Experience with 3D CAD modeling (NX preferred). Experience creating scripts or algorithms to support measurement data analysis and assembly simulation requirements. Knowledge of Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), Gage R&R, and other statistical methods required to support Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
