Description UCHealth Pikes Peak Regional Hospital, Woodland Park, CO. Department: Medical Surgical Unit. Full‑time, 48 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Shift: Night. Pay: $35.29 – $54.71 per hour, dependent on experience. This position is onsite only; no hybrid or remote option. Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited or state‑board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years’ experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Minimum 6 months of nursing (RN) experience. Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of hire. PALS certification within 6 months of hire. BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in‑hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. Key Responsibilities and Expectations Provide top‑scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. Value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Prioritize wellness, the patient perspective, and evidence‑based practice. Model proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth. Acute Care Scope Direct care includes specialty Acute Care (Med‑Surg) Units of moderate to high patient acuity.
