The QA Engineer / QA Lead is responsible for defining and executing the quality assurance strategy for a complex website and CMS implementation. This role involves validating functionality, integrations, accessibility, responsiveness, performance, content workflows, and ensuring production readiness to deliver a high-quality user experience.

This role involves validating functionality, integrations, accessibility, responsiveness, performance, content workflows, and ensuring production readiness to deliver a high-quality user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive test plans, test cases, and maintain requirements traceability.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, responsive, browser compatibility, accessibility, API, and performance testing.
- Validate Drupal permissions and workflows within the CMS.
- Test flight information and third-party integrations to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Manage defect tracking and resolution processes.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and verify defect fixes.
- Prepare detailed test reports and provide recommendations for go-live quality assurance.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum five years of web application quality assurance experience.
- Experience testing Drupal or similar enterprise CMS platforms.
- Proficiency in test planning, test-case development, and requirements traceability.
- Expertise in functional, regression, API, integration, mobile, browser compatibility, accessibility, and performance testing.
- Defect management and test automation skills.
- Experience supporting UAT and production readiness assessments.
- Experience with content-rich public websites involving CMS workflows, search, forms, alerts, real-time information, integrations, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.
- Aviation or airport website QA experience within the last three years, including documented project descriptions and links.
- Certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester, Certified Agile Tester, DHS Trusted Tester, IAAP CPACC, IAAP Web Accessibility Specialist, or equivalent QA/accessibility certifications.
- Must ensure strict adherence to quality standards for accessibility and performance.
- May require coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders to support UAT and production readiness.
- Typical work schedule with possible flexibility to support UAT phases and go-live activities.
- May require availability for on-call support during critical deployment windows.
