Job Description Job Description Job Title: Medical Assistant - Operating Room Reports to: Operating Room Team Lead FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Summary: As a Medical Assistant in the Operating Room (OR), you will play a crucial role in supporting our physicians and clinical staff in delivering exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks within the operating room environment, aimed at ensuring smooth operations and patient comfort throughout fertility procedures. Required Duties and Responsibilities: * Preoperative Preparation: Assist in preparing the operating room for procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterile and readily available. This may include setting up surgical trays, sterilizing instruments, and preparing the patient for surgery. * Patient Support: Provide compassionate care and support to patients undergoing fertility procedures. Comfort patients, address their concerns, and ensure they are adequately prepared both physically and emotionally for their surgery. * Assistance During Procedures: Assist physicians and clinical staff during fertility procedures, including but not limited to egg retrieval, embryo
