Preferably 2 years of experience in Intermediate Care or Cardiology. Description: This is a backfill position in a 198-bed, level III trauma center. The facility provides healthcare services to a diverse region. Services include medical, surgical, and rehabilitation care. Specialized offerings include a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, and inpatient behavioral health unit. The hospital also features extensive imaging and lab testing services. Recognized with various awards for healthcare excellence and aesthetics. Located in a scenic region with outdoor recreational opportunities. Local attractions include hiking, kayaking, and historical sightseeing. The position requires floating to any unit as needed, typically to PCU, Medical, Surgical, or Nephrology. Normal patient ratios for IMC patients are 1 RN to 3 patients with active titrating drips during the night shift. For Med/Surg patients, the ratio is typically 1 RN to 5-6 patients. The patient population ranges from adult to geriatric age patients. Standard equipment includes cardiology monitoring equipment, IV pumps, and crash carts. The electronic health record system utilized is Cerner.
