Network Systems Engineer

Role Overview As a Network Systems Engineer on our team, you will shape Navy missions by leading engineering efforts to develop, operate, and maintain complex technology systems using engineering principles, theories, and concepts. You will design, develop, and evolve these systems with advanced technology solutions, broaden your skill set into areas such as Zero Trust and Identity Management, and merge operational Navy experience with network design to create complex system architectures. Responsibilities Implement infrastructure and cyber security controls related to identity management for Zero Trust. Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security to a wide variety of audiences, including senior management. Champion cybersecurity, discover cyber risks, and provide hands‑on support to critical mission areas. Qualifications 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity and Information Technology (IT) systems for a DoD or government agency. 5+ years of experience with SSH, MFA, PKI, and ICAM. Experience with Windows, Linux, Cisco ISE, LDAP, Active Directory, RADIUS, VMWare vCenter, ESXi, Radiant Logic, or Ping. Experience interacting directly with clients, managers, stakeholders, and approving authorities to identify problems, analyze data, generate solutions, and communicate results. Knowledge of computer networking concepts, protocols, and security methodologies. HS diploma or GED. DoD 8140 Certification. Secret clearance. Preferred Qualifications Experience with CyberArk. Experience providing network, system administration, or computer operations support. Bachelor’s degree. Clearance Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and may be required to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Compensation The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by location, education, experience, and contract requirements.
