Job Title: Experienced Powersports Sales Representative Company: Shreveport Cycles Location: Shreveport, LA About The Role Shreveport Cycles is seeking a driven, experienced Powersports Sales Representative to join our showroom floor. As a premier dealership in Shreveport, we pride ourselves on matching our community with the perfect motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and personal watercraft. We are looking for a closer who already understands the powersports lifestyle, knows how to build lasting relationships with riders, and can hit the ground running. Key Responsibilities Engage with customers on the showroom floor, actively listening to determine their riding style, experience level, and specific vehicle needs. Conduct comprehensive product presentations and walk-arounds, expertly highlighting features, benefits, and specifications of our current inventory. Manage the end-to-end sales process, from the initial greeting to negotiating terms, overcoming objections, and finalizing the close. Maintain a robust pipeline using our CRM, executing consistent follow-up communications with prospective leads and past buyers. Stay highly educated on current inventory, manufacturer promotions, financing options, and competitor models. Collaborate smoothly with the Finance, Parts, and Service departments to ensure a seamless customer handover and maximize dealership profitability. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of successful sales experience, specifically in powersports, automotive, or RV sales. Industry Knowledge: Deep passion for and working knowledge of powersports vehicles, from street bikes and off-road vehicles to watercraft. Licensing: A valid driver’s license is required; a motorcycle endorsement is highly preferred. Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Drive: Self-motivated, highly energetic, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. Competitive base pay coupled with an aggressive commission structure.
