Business Office Manager-Senior Living

Job Description Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens, a 290‑unit community with 80 assisted‑living units, 18 memory‑care units, and 192 independent‑living units, is hiring a Business Office Manager. The role is responsible for effective communication with associates, residents, and families; overseeing payroll, resident billing, onboarding new associates; supporting the Executive Director; and ensuring day‑to‑day business office operations meet the community’s needs. Previous assisted‑living or memory‑care experience is preferred. Responsibilities Lead business office operations for the community. Attract, engage, develop, and retain community associates while minimizing premium labor. Support the Executive Director in driving profitable growth and ensuring compliance with operational processes and regulatory requirements. Ensure effective communication with associates, residents, families, vendors, and visitors. Ensure residents are properly billed and collect receivables in a timely manner. Oversee payroll to ensure correct payment for associates. Process vendor invoices for goods or services and ensure timely payment. Support an inclusive community culture. May directly supervise another department. Qualifications Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent, or experience that can substitute on a year‑for‑year basis. Minimum of three years of related experience and/or training. Previous managerial and office‑setting experience preferred. Experience in assisted‑living or memory‑care settings preferred.
