A Materials Analyst is manage obsolete inventory records and support product rationalization efforts to meet business targets. Provide guidance on data quality and content accuracy through data entry, information validation via phone and internet research, and reporting of validation results. Mon- Fri 8:00 am 5:00 pm Pay Rate: $25.05ResponsibilitiesMaintain record of all obsolete inventories and recommend improvements to all product rationalization process and ensure achievement of all targets.Provide support and guidance on data quality and data contentTasks may include data entry into spreadsheets, validating information via the internet or the phone, and generating reports about your validation results.Required SkillsExcellent organizational and planning skillsAbility to multi-task and meet tight deadlinesAbility to work both collaboratively and independentlyExperience with Microsoft Excel, preferably including previous use of formulas, sorting and filtering, and pivot tables (desired, but not required)Experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint presentation software.QualificationsTwo years' experience as an Inventory Control Clerk or similar positionGood organizational skillsAbility to operate a PC and input dataGood attention to detail and accuracyIn-depth knowledge of inventory products and processesGood verbal communication skillsAbility to travel on occasionAbility to work independentlyYou will love working in our family-oriented company!
