Industrial Electrician Experience level: Associate Experience required: 3 Years Education level: All education level Job function: Engineering Industry: Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Total position: 1 Relocation assistance: No Visa sponsorship eligibility: No End Client - Dura-Bond Pipe Dura-Bond's pipe manufacturing facility located in Steelton, Pennsylvania has opening for a full-time electrician. Responsibilities Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance. Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records. Experience with new equipment installations preferred, but not required. Must have demonstrated experience in at least 2-3 of the following Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, reactors, electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems. Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components Diagnose and correct PLC programming problems to minimize downtime. Diagnose, repair and replace electrical components of machines including but not limited to motors, relays, overloads, cables, switches, sensors, and variable speed drives. Experience with new equipment installations preferred but not required. Qualifications or Requirements Associate's degree in related field, or equivalent experience. Industrial Electrician experience preferred Experience in a production or manufacturing setting preferred; but not required. Must be able to lift 75 lbs., twist and turn, kneel, and stand for long periods of time, climb a ladder, and work overhead as required.
