Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit

Schedule: Days - 12HR: 3A-3P / 7A-7P Rotation 36 hours per week 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other week, and at least 1 holiday per contract

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state
• NIH, AHA BLS and ACLS certification
• 2 years recent acute PCU and med surg/tele experience
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates
• Recent experience with cardiac drips, ventilators, and acute BiPAP

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for individuals in a progressive care setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, performing necessary interventions.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must be flexible according to the facility's scheduling needs.
• Required to float to other units if needed.
