What You’ll Be Doing Installing, configuring, and patching operating systems and applications. Managing user accounts, permissions, and group policies. Maintaining and monitoring system performance and availability. Responding to and resolving incidents, from Tier 1 user support through Tier 3 complex technical issues. Administer, secure, and maintain a diverse infrastructure including Windows Server/Desktop, Linux, and virtualization. Administer and improve endpoint protection, backup, and disaster recovery capabilities. Develop PowerShell and Ansible scripts to automate administration and compliance tasks. Evaluate and remediate security findings from Tenable (ACAS) and SCAP/STIG tools. Maintain compliance with RMF, NIST 800‑53, and DISA STIG requirements. What You Need to be Successful Minimum Requirements for Systems Administration Staff III Active Secret clearance. DoD approved 8570 baseline certification such as Security+ or equivalent. Minimum 6 or more years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree. Proficiency with Windows Server/Active Directory and Windows Desktop. Working knowledge of RMF, NIST 800‑53, and DISA STIGs. Demonstrated ability to remediate vulnerabilities identified by ACAS and SCAP tools. Minimum Requirements for Systems Administration Staff IV Minimum 10 or more years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8 or more years with a Master’s Degree. Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, virtualization platforms (Hyper‑V, VMWare vSphere), and Cisco networking (IOS, Nexus OS). Experience automating repetitive tasks with scripting or DevOps tools. Knowledge and experience deploying SPLUNK and other cyber tools. How You Can Stand Out Advanced degree or certifications. An active Top‑Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Experience in designing, deploying, and securing complex IT architectures. Ability to brief leadership and coordinate with stakeholders on technical solutions. Project management skills and experience. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package with a grade-based pay range of $95,200.00 to $142,700.00. Individual salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors including education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
