Program Manager F-35 Training System D&M

Overview We develop training systems for the world’s most advanced aircraft – the F‑35 Joint Strike Fighter. This role provides dynamic work in a team that creates original solutions with the latest technologies. Responsibilities Direct all phases of program management from inception through completion. Collaborate with the Business Development team to coordinate proposal preparation. Act as primary liaison with the customer for all program activities, including cost, schedule, technical performance, and program review sessions. Identify program problems and establish results, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications as needed. Lead program execution, staffing demand, risks, opportunities, and process improvement initiatives. Collaborate across the F‑35 Training Modernization portfolio to increase throughput and minimize lifecycle costs. Support senior leadership strategic initiatives. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Demonstrated full spectrum leadership skills and experience leading diverse, distributed and virtual teams. Program management experience. Adept at working with matrix organizations for executing and proposing programs. Proven ability to identify, influence, and build strong relationships with decision makers and maintain long‑term customer intimacy. Ability to partner with peers across Lockheed Martin Business Units. Demonstrated business acumen, including experience in EVMS and performance metrics. Strong communication and presentation skills. Willing and able to travel as required. Ability to obtain Secret SAR clearances. Desired Skills: Program Management experience with DevSecOps and Agile development. Proven track record of leading large and complex systems development programs. Technical engineering system development experience. Active Secret clearance with a completed investigation within the last 5 years. Program Manager level 2 certified. Experience in the Training and Simulation domain. Knowledge of the F‑35 Program. Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret. Part‑time remote telework is available; employee will work part of the schedule remotely and part at a Lockheed Martin facility (specific schedule discussed during hiring).
