Sterile Processing Technician
Shift: 1300-2130, 8-hour shift length, varied days off.
Holiday coverage required.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician in an acute setting.
Current BLS or BCLS certification.
Current certification with the California Board of Sterile Processing (CBSPD), Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA), or equivalent desired.
Successful completion of prior traveler assignments preferred.
Maintain sterile processing procedures to ensure the safety of patients.
Inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment.
Adhere to infection control policies and standards.
Document sterilization processes and quality control measures accurately.
Assist in the training of new staff on sterile processing protocols.
