Job Details Location: Wenatchee, WA (Laydown) Salary range: $22–34 per hour (may vary by experience and location) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00AM – 5:00PM with overtime paid after 40 hours. The role is subject to on‑call scheduling with additional compensation. Primary Responsibilities Operate the vehicle in compliance with applicable state and federal transportation laws. Transport loads safely and timely, obey all traffic laws, and observe all safety regulations. Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas, following crew signals. Assist with loading and unloading goods and materials, use specialized equipment when warranted, unload empty skids and return equipment to their designated area. Maintain signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork; deliver documentation to shipping office or appropriate staff when the route is complete. Facilitate routine truck service (checking oil, water, gasoline, air) and report maintenance malfunctions to the Shipping Supervisor. Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns. Perform other related duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points. Ability to remain focused in a busy environment. Must hold a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) or a chauffeur’s license appropriate to the vehicle weight. Must pass background and drug testing required by federal and/or state transportation regulations. Must pass DOT physical; trucks driven are over 10,000lbs. Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle. CDL drivers may be required to be clean‑shaven to satisfy customer requirements. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab. Lift and move up to 40 pounds at a time. Travel frequently.
