Join our team at Veterinary Referral Surgical Practice in Roswell, GA and take on the role of Clinical Director. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with our surgeons to lead and shape the clinical direction of our practice, providing compassionate high-quality care and expertise. If you have strong leadership acumen and want to grow in speciality medicine, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Four day work week with no holidays or weekends.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Lead team of vet assistants and licensed techs to provide the best care for patients pre and post surgery
• Work with surgeons to coordinate receiving, rechecks, surgery prep, induction, monitoring, recovery, pack prep and discharge of surgery patients
• Help team grow thru education and experience
• Assist with interviewing new candidates for the team
• Be responsible of supply, surgical and drug inventories
• Be responsible for equipment maintenance reporting and coordination.

Required Skills:

• Experienced DVM licensed in Georgia
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Experience with small animals (dogs and cats)
• Proficient in anesthesia 
• Ability to handle urgent and emergency care situations

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with X-Rays/CT
• Strong surgical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits:

• Minimum Salary: $140,000.00
