Job Responsibilities

• Personalize Treatment Approaches: Assess patients' needs and create tailored therapy plans that facilitate their functional achievements
• Deliver Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living tasks
• Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide well-rounded, thoughtful care
• Educate Patients and Families: Instruct patients and caregivers on therapeutic methods to foster continued progress at home
• Track Progress and Adjust Plans: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment approaches as needed, ensuring patients are on the path to their goals

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
• Encouragement and support for continuing education or additional certifications

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
