We are seeking an experienced Aviation Engine Accessories Mechanic to join an aviation repair and overhaul operation. This position will perform repair, overhaul, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of engine accessories and related components in accordance with approved technical data and established work scopes. Experience working with Pratt & Whitney PT6 and/or Rolls-Royce T56/501 engines or their associated accessories is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate and depot-level repair and overhaul of aviation engine accessories and related components.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, sub-assemble, and complete final assembly of engine and QEC accessories.
• Perform functional testing of accessories and related components.
• Follow approved technical data, maintenance instructions, and established work scopes.
• Verify proper configuration, fits, clearances, and component requirements during assembly.
• Perform servicing procedures in accordance with applicable technical requirements.
• Use hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and other shop equipment appropriately.
• Identify component issues and assist with troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and component status.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work closely with other mechanics, inspectors, and repair station personnel to ensure quality and timely completion of work.
• Follow all applicable FAA, OSHA, company, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an aviation mechanic, aircraft component mechanic, or similar role.
• Experience repairing, overhauling, testing, or troubleshooting engine accessories strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of aviation engines, accessories, and aircraft components.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals, work instructions, and approved maintenance data.
• Working knowledge of hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must have a basic set of mechanic's tools.

Preferred Experience

• Pratt & Whitney PT6 engines or accessories
• Rolls-Royce T56/501 engines or accessories
• Fuel controls and fuel pumps
• Aviation accessory overhaul and repair
• Test cell operations
• Part 145 repair station experience
• 2–5 years of aviation MRO experience
• Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) repair or overhaul
• Field service experience involving aviation engines or aircraft

Additional Advantage

• FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) certification
• Experience troubleshooting engine accessories
• Experience performing functional or acceptance testing
• Experience working from OEM manuals, maintenance data, and component overhaul instructions
