Market Risk Associate - Securitized Products

A top-tier investment bank is looking to add an associate level Market Risk professional to help cover their Securitized Products Trading desks. Sitting at the intersection of risk and the front office, this role offers significant visibility across trading, risk leadership, and senior management. The individual will be responsible for delivering insightful risk analysis across complex structured products while helping shape the development of risk frameworks, reporting enhancements, and strategic risk initiatives that support the firm's continued growth. Responsibilities: Partner with trading teams to assess portfolio risk exposures, challenge risk‑taking activity, and provide independent oversight across structured credit and securitized products desks. Deliver actionable risk analytics by interpreting market moves, stress scenarios, and portfolio sensitivities, helping senior stakeholders understand key drivers of P&L and risk. Produce concise risk reporting and insights for management, while ensuring trading activity remains aligned with established risk limits and governance standards. Contribute to the enhancement of risk measurement tools, reporting processes, and framework development to strengthen overall risk management capabilities Qualifications: 1-3 years of experience in Market Risk, Product Control, Valuation Risk, or a related trading floor risk function within a bank or financial institution. Exposure to securitized products, structured credit, or fixed income, with a solid understanding of associated risk drivers. Strong analytical and quantitative skillset, with the ability to synthesize complex market dynamics into clear and meaningful conclusions.
