Luer/Cutting B Shift Production Leader

Becton Dickinson seeks a Production Supervisor for its Columbus manufacturing facility to lead a production team on the B shift. The role focuses on driving operational excellence in safety, quality, and productivity while coaching and developing associates in a fast-paced medical device manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Spend at least 75% of time on production floor coaching and mentoring associates
Develop staffing, onboarding, and training plans for the department
Promote safe work environment and address safety incidents promptly
Monitor production metrics and collaborate with planning to meet schedules
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure quality standard compliance

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Three years supervisory experience in manufacturing (if no associate degree)
Leadership and people management experience preferred
Manufacturing operations experience preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Safety, ergonomics, and continuous improvement methodology knowledge
Problem-solving and financial awareness capability
