EDI Customer Service Specialist
Location: Sorrento Valley, San Diego, CA
Duration: Minimum 3-month contract with potential for extension
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an EDI Customer Service Specialist for an established organization located in Sorrento Valley, San Diego. This is a minimum 3-month contract opportunity with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, experience working with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems, and the ability to troubleshoot issues while maintaining positive relationships with customers and business partners. This role is well suited for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding EDI transactions, orders, and account-related issues

• Monitor, process, and troubleshoot EDI transactions to ensure accuracy and timely completion

• Investigate and resolve transaction errors, discrepancies, and rejected documents

• Communicate with internal departments and external partners to resolve issues and provide updates

• Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, transaction issues, and resolutions

• Provide ongoing support to customers and business partners regarding EDI processes

• Identify recurring issues and assist with process improvements

• Ensure customer satisfaction through timely, professional, and effective communication

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably within an EDI or supply chain environment

• Familiarity with EDI transactions and troubleshooting is highly preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data-entry systems

• Ability to work onsite in Sorrento Valley, San Diego

Assignment Details:

• Minimum 3 month contract role

• Onsite work schedule

• Full-time

• Monday-Friday 8am-5pm PST

• Located in Sorrento Valley, San Diego 

• Compensation: $26.00 per hour

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented HR professional who can independently manage employee relations matters while supporting daily HR operations throughout the contract assignment.
