Senior Director Biostatistics

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals seeks a Senior Director of Biostatistics to lead statistical activities across clinical development phases for their MASH therapeutic program. The role combines hands-on complex analyses with cross-functional leadership, reporting to the SVP of Biostatistics and Data Sciences.
Responsibilities
- Lead statistics function within program teams and drive clinical development strategy
- Oversee biostatisticians and programmers at company or CRO to execute R&D activities
- Conduct complex statistical analyses, develop protocols and Statistical Analysis Plans
- Contribute to clinical/regulatory strategies and submission documents for program lifecycle management
- Mentor junior R&D staff and represent company at external scientific forums
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics with 10+ years pharma/biotech experience
- Proven support of NDA submissions and health authority interactions (FDA, EMA, PMDA)
- Advanced statistical methods and clinical trial design expertise
- Ability to communicate complex analyses to non-statistical audiences
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Compensation: $264,000-$322,000 per year
