Curtze Food Service is seeking full-time CDL Class A Route Delivery Drivers and Overnight CDL A Shuttle drivers with Double endorsement at all locations and CDL Class B Route Delivery Drivers out of our Bedford, PA location only. CDL A Route Delivery Drivers

As a CDL Class A Route Delivery Driver, you will earn a competitive wage of $30.00/hour. A full-time CDL Class A Route Delivery Driver will drive a predetermined route to deliver food and grocery items to our customers. Drivers are home every day.

CDL Class A Shuttle Drivers with Doubles Endorsement

Shuttle Drivers work overnight shifts. As a CDL Class A Shuttle Driver, you will earn a competitive wage of $29.50/hour. Class A Shuttle drivers transport double trailers to and from distribution center, domicile yards, vendor locations, and other locations as assigned. Driver will be home every day. This position reports to the Transportation Supervisor.

CDL B Route Delivery Drivers Bedford, PA location Only

As a CDL Class B Route Delivery Driver, you will earn a competitive wage of $24.50/hour. A full-time CDL Class A Route Delivery Driver will drive a predetermined route to deliver food and grocery items to our customers. Drivers are home every day.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CDL CLASS A & B ROUTE DELIVERY DRIVER

As a CDL Class A Route Delivery Driver, you start your shift bright and early. You enjoy the quiet that comes when you get on the road before the break of dawn. Over the course of 10 hours, you drive your route, making deliveries to 10 to 20 different customer locations, including restaurants, nursing homes, hospitals, and anyone else who needs food. You are meticulous about maintaining DOT logs as required throughout the day.

With great attention to detail and by verifying with the customer, you ensure that each delivery is correct. You collect payment as required and contact management for any issues with orders. You get your cardio and weight training in as you unload the product and place it in designated customer storage areas which may require going up and down stairs.

Because you have a regular route, you can make connections and your customers look forward to seeing you. Don't be surprised if you are offered a cup of coffee or a piece of pie as you make some of your deliveries. As much as you love driving, you also love that you get to be home every night. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF SHUTTLE DRIVER

As a Shuttle Driver, you transport double trailers to and from the distribution center, domicile yards, vendor locations, and other locations. Your efforts are valuable because our remote customers can't get their deliveries if you don't bring trailers to their remote region. We have several remote truck depots throughout the area which is where you start the day. You hook and bring back two empty trailers to our main facility and then return to the remote depot with two full trailers, stocked with products to be delivered the next day. Every shift, you drive and drop or hook trailers with care and concern for the safety of those around you. You feel good about the necessary service you provide for our customers!

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Class A (Class B for Bedford, PA)
• At least 1 year of over the road (OTR) experience OR 6 months food and beverage delivery experience
• Have and maintain DOT physical
• Doubles Endorsement for Overnight Shuttle Drivers
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and perform repetitive lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, and climbing
