Computer-Aided Design Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION The Computer-Aided Design Specialist shall support the Air Force SEEK EAGLE Office (AFSEO) Modeling, Analysis, and Tools Support (SEMATS). Essential Job Functions :Create, modify, and maintain 3-D models of aircraft, aircraft suspension equipment, aircraft stores, and various tooling and fixtures used in the aircraft-store certification process .Utilize Siemens NX software to create and modify 3-D structured surface and volume images .Translate various types of CAD files into NX format .Use reverse engineering techniques to take 3-D scan data and reproduce items using NX software to produce solid models for various engineering customers. Scan items on site to capture the shape of objects of interest .Translate various CAD files such as Pro/ENGINEER, CATIA, Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor into NX format for modification and/or storage Desired Skill s:Experience modeling with an industry utilized 3-D CAD software with assembly modeling experience preferre d.Experience with complex surfacing, specifically Aerospace and/or boat hull class A surfacing is a plu Required Experience CE:Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is requir ed.A High School Diploma plus 4 years of experience is requir ed.Must have an active Secret security clearance or be able to get o ne.Must have 3-D CAD modeling experience in an industry utilized CAD software with assembly modeling experience preferr ed.Must be willing to learn Siemens NX as well as other reverse engineering software used by the US AF.Looking for someone who has Siemens NX experience and some experience with complex surfacing, specifically Aerospace and/or boat hull class A surfac #J-18808-Ljbffr
