Description

American Traveler is hiring a Behavioral Health RN for a Crisis Center unit requiring MO or compact RN licensure and PALS certification, with prior travel experience required.

Details

• Behavioral Health unit within a Crisis Center setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7p-7a
• Floating required between this facility and a sister hospital in Overland Park, KS, approximately 12 miles away
• Pediatric behavioral health patient population

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required; KS license also required (may be pending documentation of application for main campus assignments)
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required (AHA certifications only; RQI not accepted)
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Previous pediatric nursing experience preferred
• Must pass a medication/dosage test with 100% accuracy within first week (up to 3 attempts allowed)

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care within a smoke-free, nicotine-free campus (nicotine testing required)
• Facility accepts local candidates at the same rate as travelers
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
