Join UCLA Health's Ambulatory Float Team as a Medical Assistant and support patients across 25+ specialties, including Primary Care, Pediatrics, specialty, and surgical practices. You'll provide patient care and clinical support across multiple ambulatory clinics while gaining experience with diverse patient populations and care teams throughout UCLA Health's ambulatory network. Per Diem Schedule Requirements As a Per Diem employee on the Ambulatory Float Team, you must be available for a minimum of two weekdays per week, Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 6:0 p.m., and one weekend per month, Saturday and Sunday, between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. A full month's availability must be submitted at least one month in advance. Training Requirements We require completion of two consecutive weeks of full-time training, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PST, although the schedule may vary based on training and operational needs. Travel Requirements Travel to all UCLA Health Ambulatory Community Clinics throughout Southern California is required, and you must be physically present at assigned worksites. Assignment locations are based on operational needs and are subject to change. Although travel to all UCLA Health community practices is required, current staffing needs are primarily located in the Northeast Valley region, including: Van Nuys Valencia Woodland Hills North Hollywood Encino Porter Ranch Santa Clarita Salary range: $31.24 - $41.22 per hour #J-18808-Ljbffr
