Job Description Ichor Systems has an immediate opening for a Running of various welding machines to include hand welding, using a TIG welder and orbital welding using an orbital welding machine of stainless steel and other high purity materials. Execute all of Ichor’s Standard Operating Procedures as they pertain to manufacturing related duties. Responsible for the study of prints, drawings and specifications to complete finished welds and lay out of tasks using specialized computer welding equipment. Demonstrated Ability to process and inspect work in accordance to prints. Ability to perform a sequence of operations, consistently maintaining the performance level set for quality and quantity. Responsible for the study of prints, drawings and specifications to complete finished welds and lay out of tasks using specialized computer welding equipment. Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities Basic PC skills for manufacturing. Experience working in high-purity clean room environment. Mechanically inclined. Visual acuity and manual dexterity. Ability to handle fragile products, perform repetitive tasks and demonstrate safety awareness. Proficiently use all approved hand gauges to inspect component quality at the work center. Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment. Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50lbs. Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings, correspondence, and documents. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, percentages, and decimals. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively with supervisors, leads, and peers. Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practices. Basic understanding of related mechanics, flow control elements and MRP concepts. 3-4+ years manufacturing or related work experience - semiconductor industry preferred. Commitment to quality, customer focused mindset both internally and externally. Successful completion of a 2-year professional trade program in Welding Technology or equivalent- or currently enrolled in such a program Basic math, blueprint reading and weld to print skills. 3+ years work experience performing Tig welding of stainless steel or less experience with a Welding technology degree (or currently enrolled in Welding Technology Degree program). For candidates based in Minnesota: The pay range is $19.09 - $32.45 hourly, non-exempt plus shift differential. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training.
