Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Job Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks)
Pay Rate: $50.00 - $55.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Start Date: 07/20/2026
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Weekly

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Med-Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care for adult patients in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role requires strong telemetry interpretation skills, Med-Surg experience, and the flexibility to float between specialty units including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarder populations.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License.

• Minimum three (3) years of current or recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience.

• Strong Medical-Surgical nursing background.

• Current EPIC proficiency required.

• Telemetry competency required.

• Ability to float between multiple Med-Surg specialty units.

• Current BLS Certification.

• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Medical-Surgical patients.

• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms.

• Care for patients with complex medical conditions.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Float to various Med-Surg specialty units as needed.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EPIC.

• Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.

• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and patient safety standards.
