Hematology/Oncology Physician Opportunity

Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematology Oncology physician to join a well-established hospital practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, diagnostic and clinical skills. Non-profit, 300 bed new hospital facility. New Cancer Center facility with recently expanded infusion center. Call 1:5. Hospital employed with guaranteed base salary plus bonus incentives, comprehensive health benefits, 403B retirement match program with optional 457B plan, CME time off and annual allowance, short term disability plan covering 100% base salary for up to 6 months, significant recruitment incentives with an initial multi-year contract.

Provides services to a nine-county area with a population of approximately 200,000. Recreational and cultural opportunities include a well-developed park system, private and public golf courses, a performing arts endowment fund, and a myriad of historical sites. Median age of WV state wide population is 39.5 and increasing as we have the highest population age density in the US now; older than Florida based on population. Restaurants, college sports (WVU 35 miles away-Big East) WV theatre, WVU creative arts complex; Pittsburgh is closest true cultural center with symphony, ballet, opera, etc and is 125 miles by interstate and does a great job of marketing to the Saturday/weekend crowd; many of us do that a lot.
