Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive ongoing assessments, tailoring therapeutic approaches to effectively meet the individual needs of each client.

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with supervisors, teammates, family members, and other stakeholders regarding client progress and care plans.

  • Develop a structured schedule for client appointments, ensuring timely fidelity to the treatment plan and effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.

  • Coordinate necessary home visits when appropriate, ensuring that in-home observations and interviews are conducted to gather vital client information.

  • Ensure the effective implementation of program plans, regularly measuring their application and efficacy through systematic data collection and analysis.

  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights from client interactions and collaborating on holistic care strategies.

  • Draft detailed monthly and quarterly progress notes that reflect client development and inform ongoing care strategies.
  • \n
  • Organize training sessions to ensure staff proficiency in program implementation and documentation standards.
  • \n
  • Provide continuous follow-up with clients through interviews and observations, reinforcing ongoing support and therapeutic engagement.

  • Act as a liaison between clients and the broader mental health community, facilitating access to resources and enhancing client development goals.

  • Assist in the development and refinement of training materials that enhance the overall quality of care and client engagement practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including both adults and youth, who are facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our clients may grapple with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders, requiring a nuanced and compassionate approach tailored to each individual’s unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

  • Possession of a Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

  • A current, active, and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.
  • \n
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical counseling experience is required, demonstrating an ability to deliver effective therapeutic interventions.
  • \n
  • A specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse recovery is highly advantageous.
  • \n
  • A solid understanding of both legal and ethical standards within the counseling field.
  • \n
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and foster trust with clients from various backgrounds.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, contributing effectively to shared client care goals.

  • Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and other related technologies for documentation and communication.
