A reputable construction company specializing in Pre‑Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) is hiring a skilled laborer to support the assembly, installation, and maintenance of metal structures. You will be responsible for cutting, staging, and bolting materials into place using blueprints, while working hands-on with a variety of tools and equipment. This position offers consistent hours, growth potential, and strong benefits after 60–90 days.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of metal structures.

• Cut, stage, and bolt material into place according to blueprints.

• Utilize tools such as pry bars, tin snips, pliers, ratchets, spud wrenches, hammers, levels, and speed squares.

• Work out of scissor lifts and follow OSHA regulations, including PPE and harness requirements.

Essential Skills:

• 2+ years of general construction experience.

• Ability to use a range of hand tools and power tools.

• Ability to read and work from blueprints accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Welding experience is a plus, but not required.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Familiarity with structural welding, MIG, and stick

welding is beneficial.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gretna, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
