Schedule/Hours

• Days: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Full Time

Qualifications

• Current RN license for New Mexico or compact state eligibility
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room RN experience preferred
• Willingness to float between primary and main campus OR settings as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver both routine and complex perioperative care independently in accordance with established standards of practice
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor for efficacy and side effects
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Support patients and families through education and emotional care tailored to their needs
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team and delegate appropriately to optimize patient outcomes
