Senior Security Consultant

Leading strategic governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) engagements, the full-time Senior Security Consultant will elevate client security posture and compliance maturity by developing multi-quarter roadmaps, providing expert guidance on risk management frameworks, and overseeing incident management processes, all while delivering executive-level insights and communications. Key responsibilities: Develop and maintain security and compliance roadmaps aligned to client goals and risk posture Provide governance oversight for incident response readiness and coordinate with service delivery teams Mentor Security Consultants and Analysts, contributing to the evolution of methodologies and standards Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience Must have or complete certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or equivalent 7+ years of experience in GRC, risk management, security consulting, or advisory roles Mastery of risk management and cybersecurity frameworks relevant to SMB environments Expertise in executive communication and stakeholder management Virtual Vocations Inc
