TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in McAllen, Texas, 78503!

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Department or Free Standing Emergency Department License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NIHSS, CPI Must-Have: Proficiency with difficult venous access, large bore IVs, blood cultures, triage, and monitoring Description: The unit has a total of 11 beds and is staffed by 3 registered nurses on each shift. Patient ratios are set at 1:4. The emergency department is equipped with trauma equipment and point-of-care laboratory services. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Emergency response procedures are in place for code blue, stroke, STEMI, and sepsis. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to work well within a team. Candidates should be capable of functioning with minimal oversight. This position requires working every other weekend.
