Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history evaluations.
• Support the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging results and laboratory data.
• Work closely with surgeons to formulate and implement individualized surgical treatment strategies.
• Provide intraoperative assistance by preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during procedures.
• Administer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication delivery, wound management, discharge planning, and patient instruction.

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery.

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant.
