Clinical Pharmacist – Multi-State Licensure | Specialty Infusion

Location: Overland Park, KS – On-site
Salary: $130,000–$140,000
Position: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
On-Call: Participation in rotation as determined by pharmacy leadership

M&M Strategic Staffing Solutions is recruiting 1–2 Clinical Pharmacists for an urgent direct-hire opportunity with a growing specialty infusion pharmacy in Overland Park, Kansas.

Multi-state pharmacist licensure is a key requirement for this search. We are particularly interested in pharmacists who already hold active licenses in several of the priority states listed below.

Priority State Licenses

Highest-priority licenses include:

California • Texas • Illinois • Virginia • Maryland • West Virginia • Nevada • Tennessee • Kentucky

Additional licenses highly desired:

Michigan • Massachusetts • Oregon • Oklahoma • Idaho

Candidates do not necessarily need to hold every license listed. If you currently maintain multiple active pharmacist licenses , we encourage you to apply and identify the states in which you are licensed.

What You'll Do

As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play an important role in ensuring patients receive safe, effective and timely specialty infusion therapies.

Responsibilities include:

• Review, interpret and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness and regulatory compliance
• Evaluate patient records and medication regimens to support safe and effective specialty therapy management
• Monitor drug therapies and identify potential therapeutic concerns
• Recommend clinical interventions when appropriate
• Provide patient counseling and education regarding specialty medications and treatment plans
• Collaborate with nursing, intake, reimbursement, referral, clinical and pharmacy operations teams
• Support patient onboarding and referral processes to help facilitate timely access to therapy
• Serve as a clinical resource for prescription, medication and patient-care concerns
• Oversee pharmacy technician activities and documentation
• Maintain compliance with applicable State Board of Pharmacy requirements, HIPAA, FDA, DEA, Medicare and accreditation standards
• Participate in quality improvement, audits and accreditation activities
• Assist with training and development of pharmacy technicians, interns and new team members

Required Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist licensure in multiple states, with strong preference for the priority states listed above
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
• Understanding of specialty medications and specialty pharmacy operations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Experience

• 3+ years of pharmacy experience within Specialty Pharmacy, Infusion Pharmacy, Home Infusion, Hospital, Mail-Order, Community or Retail Pharmacy
• Experience supporting specialty pharmacy operations
• Experience working with pharmacy technicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Knowledge of specialty therapy payer requirements and reimbursement processes
• CareTend or similar pharmacy management system experience
• Good Clinical Practices (GCP) certification
