Business Analyst 3This full-time Business Analyst 3 contract assignment is in the Engineering Services Group (PEJ) under the Power Services Energy Conservation (PE) business line of *** (BPA). This assignment will provide business analyst support for energy conservation engineering initiatives and emerging technologies within Energy Conservation. Under the guidance of the BPA manager or team lead, this assignment will analyze, interpret or make deductions from varying facts or circumstances, and document how new initiatives, products and emerging technologies might be developed into Energy Conservation Measures or programs; providing recommendations to BPA manager and/or executives and stakeholders as appropriate. The assignment will support the PEJ manager and the Engineering Technical Leads in the development and implementation of energy conservation engineering initiatives and the Energy Conservation Emerging Technology program, including the recommendation and development of business practices, technology assessment and analysis, reporting, and providing primary analytical and program support to federal staff.The BPA's Energy Conservation Engineering group consists of 14 engineers and four support staff across five offices. The team provides engineering and technical support for all aspects of energy conservation measures and projects across the agricultural, commercial, industrial, and residential sectors to both internal and external customers. The work is assigned by physical location and occasionally by specific subject matter expertise. The team is structured to provide support and subject matter expertise to other team members to ensure projects succeed and energy savings goals are achieved. First Tek
