Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) position in Portland, Oregon. This short-term acute care assignment requires candidates to bring their nursing license on the first day. The role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a diverse, fast-paced environment, with responsibilities including managing a wide range of medical conditions and procedures. Candidates must be prepared to float between facilities and adhere to facility policies.

Job Details:

• Location: Portland, Oregon
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; 3 years of experience for first timers or 2 years for non-first timers; American Heart Association (AHA) certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); experience with Epic electronic medical record system; valid drivers license and access to a vehicle; ability to float between facilities may be required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing complex conditions such as acute psychosis, arterial line management, intubation, and patient stabilization; experience in emergency department settings with different patient populations.
• Additional Information: Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby your contracted facility. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
